The Advice Process

In simple terms, our expectation is to: De-mystify, Inform, Create (a plan), Execute & Review.

We often play a multitude of roles throughout our advice process. Financial Planner. Wealth Manager. Adviser. Guide. Educator. Counsellor. We will become your ‘go to’ for all things financial. We’ll hold your hand and lead you through the options, testing your decisions as you go, if necessary.

We’ll understand you. In some ways, maybe more than you understand yourself. It is essential we draw out your needs and wants (these are very different), and then your objectives, in order of priority. We must clearly uncover your preferences and expectations. Then we can help you review your situation and compare where you are with where you want to be. Only then do we build the bridge for you. This takes the form of a tailored plan, which we keep under review, with you, throughout the future.

It is only when your preferences and situation are clearly appreciated by both your adviser and you as our client that a full and complete financial strategy can be appropriately structured. We don’t rush it. It’s too important. We won’t start thinking of solutions too early in the process, and as Independent Financial Advisers (IFA) we have no preferences or favoured solutions of our own. We start with a blank page for every client.
